« Three generations, a summer photo shoot »
August 19, 2010 Under what was quite-a-warm-summer-day-for-Vancouver this family of three generations were really good sports. The bright sunny day turned out to be quite the challenge with only a few shaded spots in the garden. But with some posing and composition creativity the results came out nicely varied.

For the technically interested: all shots with Nikon D700 coupled with a mix of the Nikon 35mm f2, 50mm f1.4 G and 85mm f1.4 D. Almost all the photos had additional lighting added using one or two SB900 speedlights on stands with a Lightsphere attached, and triggered with the SU800. This was the first shoot I have used the Lightspheres. Interesting piece of gear, I definitely will have to do a review on.
