Hi there. I am Klaus Boedker. I (heart) photography.

When camera manufacturers kindly lend me their latest and greatest, I review cameras and lenses.

Over the past three years, I have reviewed the Coco ring flash (my most popular blog post), Nikon's D300s, D3000, D3100, D5000 and D5100 DSLRs, 50mm lenses in general, Canon's 100-400mm lens and XSi DSLR, the (late) flip video camera, Fuji's F200EXR and S200, Sony's a330, a33 and NEX5 cameras, the Olympus E-P2, the Pentax K-x, and finally Samsung's NX100. Phew!

Now and then, I also find time for some great portrait photography and awesome macro shots. 

Personally, I shoot with a Nikon D700 coupled with four Nikkor prime lenses: 35mm f2, 50mm f1.4 G, 85mm f1.4 D and 105mm f2.8 VR Micro. My lighting gear is a very simple setup of a Nikon SB900 and SB600 controlled wireless with a SU800 unit. To diffuse the light, I either use a ring flash (the dirt cheap Coco) or Lightspheres.
